FAQs
Got questions? We’ve got answers.
Is Clarity IQ a certified ServiceNow partner?
We are not certified or affiliated with ServiceNow in any way, and that’s very much by design. From the outset, we wanted to offer our clients agnostic and unbiased services and advisory. We believe that becoming a certified partner with ServiceNow, with product and service-related sales targets, would create a conflict of interest and be disingenuous when helping clients set strategy and deliver ServiceNow-related projects. We prefer to remain impartial, working solely in our clients’ best interests, not those of ServiceNow. If we think a particular ServiceNow product or approach isn’t the right fit for your business, we’ll say so, and we’re free to do so. This independence has become one of our clients’ most valued requirements. It also enables us to provide independent solutions, like our project assurance and management service, which helps organisations validate projects delivered by certified ServiceNow partners.
If you’re not a partner, are your solutions certified and supported?
Absolutely. Not only do we fully guarantee and support our deployments and custom solutions with top-notch backup, but all our solutions also follow ServiceNow best practices. This means they are fully supportable by another ServiceNow partner or directly with ServiceNow, should you choose that route in the future.
How long has Clarity IQ been in business?
Clarity IQ was founded in 2014 and incorporated in 2016, but our founders have been working with ServiceNow since the platform’s early days in 2004.
Is the code developed proprietary?
No, we don’t lock clients into proprietary code. We never wrap our code in proprietary widgets or plugins. All developed solutions and associated code are available in plain text on the platform, where security and access controls permit. This means you can have anyone support or extend the functionality without needing our involvement, eliminating the vendor lock-in that many providers rely on.
Are there any long-term contracts or lock-ins?
No, we operate on a simple on-demand, pay-as-you-use subscription model. If you want to leverage one of our services, you purchase the relevant solution, and if you no longer need the service, you simply don’t renew. There are no penalties, liability, or financial/legal ramifications.
We already have a ServiceNow team/admins. How can Clarity IQ help?
Many of our clients already have ServiceNow coordinators or administrators who handle daily platform support. We’re typically engaged to design, develop, and deliver more complex solutions where our expertise can accelerate delivery and ensure long-term stability. Some clients also opt for managed services like Secure IQ, which focuses on platform security, allowing in-house administrators to concentrate on daily support rather than backend system activities.
I need to have a project delivered quickly; can you help?
Yes, agility is one of our core strengths. Once a project subscription is active, we can usually assemble a team and begin work within a few days.
We already work with a ServiceNow partner. How can Clarity IQ help?
This is a common scenario; over 40% of our clients also work with certified ServiceNow partners. In such cases, we’re often engaged to provide services that complement the partner’s work, such as security, advisory, or project management and assurance, which many partners do not offer.
Do you provide contract or freelance ServiceNow resources?
No, we’re not a recruitment agency. We provide services and solutions, not individual resources.
Where are you based?
We are based in London, UK, but our team is distributed globally.
Do you provide on-site teams?
No, to maintain the quality, agility, and cost-effectiveness of our on-demand services, all work is carried out remotely.
Will we get different people working on each project, like with contractors?
While some backend developer resources may vary depending on project-specific competencies, the core project team, always led by a senior Clarity IQ partner, remains consistent for the duration of the client’s engagement. This ensures continuity and a deep understanding of your business needs across all projects.
Can you deliver multiple projects at once?
Yes, our on-demand model allows for complete flexibility to scale resources up or down as needed. Each project typically has its own subscription account and dedicated delivery team, ensuring focused, uninterrupted attention for each initiative.
We might need to put a project on hold. Do we still have to pay?
No. With our on-demand, pay-as-you-go model, you’re only charged when we’re actively working on a project or providing a service. If you need to pause a project, you can stop and re-engage later with no financial obligation during the downtime.
Do we have to sign up for a multi-year contract?
Absolutely not. Our on-demand model is designed to avoid long-term contracts. You only pay for what you use, and if you’re happy with our work, we trust you’ll keep coming back. Our reputation is built on results, not contract terms.
Who are your customers?
Our clients are typically large enterprises that rely heavily on ServiceNow for workflow and automation. We serve diverse industries, including broadcasting, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, legal, finance, insurance, and entertainment. Notable clients include Sky, Comcast, BDO, HSF, Domestic & General, Netflix, and Disney.
How quickly can you start?
We have resources available to start immediately, although the primary bottleneck is usually the client’s vendor onboarding process. Contact us to discuss your requirements, and we’ll do our best to expedite the start.
We have multiple requirements. Do we need different subscriptions for each service?
Generally, no. Any service in our portfolio can be accessed through a single flat-fee subscription. However, some solutions, like Secure IQ, Project Assist, and Project Assure, may require separate monthly subscriptions. We’re also happy to customise a subscription if you prefer everything under one plan.
How many projects have you delivered?
We’ve successfully delivered over 500 projects, and counting.
What is your project delivery success rate?
100%. We have never failed to deliver a ServiceNow project on time, to specification, and within budget. This track record is the foundation of our reputation. We also offer Project Assist and Project Assure services to help clients leverage our project management expertise within their own teams, powered by our proprietary FastStepIQ methodology.
Can we try your services before committing?
Yes, we offer a very low-cost test subscription that allows you to access any of our services and solutions for a limited period. This provides an opportunity to get a real-world view of what it’s like to work with us, experience the services we provide, and see our commitment to delivering results and complete customer satisfaction. If you decide to take out a full subscription after the trial, the trial cost will be fully reimbursed. Here’s a hint about what it’s like to work with us: we have given hundreds of trial refunds!
Why do you charge for trials?
Unlike digital products, our services involve dedicated resources, which incur significant costs. By offering a discounted trial subscription, we ensure that our time and resources are invested in clients who have a serious ServiceNow strategy, rather than the ever-curious.
How does your on-demand model work?
Our on-demand model is based on service credits, which clients can purchase and use as needed. Each credit can be applied to any ServiceNow service, from development to security. This model allows clients to start, pause, or stop projects at their convenience.
What types of ServiceNow services do you offer?
We provide a full range of ServiceNow services, including custom development, platform security, integrations, project management, and advisory services. Solutions like Secure IQ and Project Assist are tailored to specific client needs. Please reach out to discuss your unique requirements.
